PI 979 is an efficient free radical (I) type amino ketone photoinitiator, which can replace traditional photoinitiators such as 907, 369, and 379.
It is biologically safe, non-toxic, and has a neutral odor. It can be used alone or in combination with ITX and DETX, offering superior bridging capability in solder mask inks for printed circuit boards (PCBs), with good solubility and compatibility with formulations.
The recommended addition amount is 3-8% for printing inks; for PCB solder mask inks, a ratio of 979/DETX = 3:1 is suggested.
